A Song of Ice and Fire Possible ending
Lyanna was captured by Rhaegar and brought to a castle in Dorne called the Tower of Joy. This started basically the entire war. Robert ends up killing Rhaegar on the Tridant and taking over the throne. Eddard then traveled to the Tower of Joy with 6 other people to rescue his sister.
When they get there, they found 3 kingsgaurd guarding the tower (curious that kingsguard would be there!!). There were only 2 people that survived the assault that day to rescue Lyanna.
Lyanna ended up dying, with her last words being “promise me Ned”
Eddard was the last person that knew what the promise was and then he was beheaded…OR IS HE!??!
Oh no, because the OTHER person that survived is…none other…than…HOWLAND REED!!! Jojen’s father! Howland sent his kids to Winterfell and he hasnt left the swamps since that ordeal at the tower because HE KNOWS!
And Jojen will have “green dreams” or something and it will be revealed that Jon Snow is a Stark and a Targaryn! That’s right, Jon Stark is the son of Lyanna Stark and Prince Rhaegar.
And Eddard claimed him as his son because Robert wanted to kill all the Targaryn spawn, and if he knew Jon was the son of Rhaegar, Robert would have killed Eddard’s nephew and only living son of his sister. (I think this is really the reason why Eddard is so upset about Robert wanting to kill Dany via assassin in book 1 too)
Lets be honest, Eddard was WAY too honorable to cheat on his wife ever. So I am pretty sure Eddard is NOT the father at all.
So, Jon Snow (as Ice) will battle a Daenarys (as fire) again. Instead of Eddard (and Robert) fighting Rhaegar for the throne, it will be Jon vs Dany. It will be the same exact war that was fought by their parents generation.
